Meet Ben and Rebecca at the Raetihi Holiday Park before your adventure on the Whanganui River with Whanganui River Canoes.
Whanganui River Canoes takes pride in the fact that we have some of the best equipment on the river. We regularly maintain and upgrade our equipment - you will feel like royalty as you paddle in some of the newest craft on the Whanganui River.
Ben drives jet boats daily on the Whanganui River, so can give the latest information about river levels, conditions and hazards – and if you bump in to him at the Bridge to Nowhere, feel free to stop for a chat.
We like to make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive at our base, so feel free to settle in to your campsite or cabin at our Holiday Park, and then we can arrange a time for your briefing. We offer two separate briefings, one at our base, and the next down at the river. This gives you plenty of time to get any of those last questions answered before you are on the river for a number of days!
Our trips are very flexible – we can organize trips for any sized groups*, and we can integrate guided, or freedom hire canoeing, biking, tramping and jet boating – if you can imagine it – we can do it! * (for safety solo paddlers need to be booked on days we have other groups)
Why not get a group together and discover for yourself?
Contact us now for our discounted freedom hire three day trip departing 17 February or our three day guided trip departing 4 March!!
Please be sure to read our Terms and Conditions before making a booking
